Access AIM on Your Phone: Step-by-Step Directions

With AIMTM on your cell phone, you can stay in touch with your friends while on the go.

Windows Mobile users ... want AIM on your cell phone plus a whole lot more? Follow these steps (based on your carrier) to access AIM on your phone:

Alltel:

Check under "Axcess/My Apps" Mobile IM > E-Mail

How do I get Instant Messenger® service?
1. Click "Axcess Shop"
2. Select "Catalog"
3. Select "IM & E-Mail"

AT&T:
1. Select "Mail & Messaging"
2. Select "Mobile AIM"
3. Select "Download"

The AIM client will be saved to your device and can be accessed from the Home Screen.

Sprint:
1. Select "My Content"
2. Select "IM & E-Mail Instant Messaging"
Or
1. Select "Web"
2. Select "Messaging"
3. Select "Instant Messaging"
4. Select "AOL Instant Messenger"

T-Mobile:

Do I already have it? T-Mobile pre-loads AIM if it's available. Check Under the Main Menu for "IM"

Verizon Wireless:
The AIM application comes preloaded on most Verizon Wireless phones. To check if you already have it -

1. Check under "Messaging"
2. Then under "Mobile IM"
Or
1. Check "Get it now"
2. Select "Tools on the Go"
3. Select "Mobile IM"
